Villa Los Olivos is a cottage situated on the south of Costa Dorada, in the village of l'Ampolla managed by Catalan Ways.
Catalan Ways has two offices in l’Ampolla to give support and information on all aspects of your holiday on the Costa Dorada; our job is to make sure you have all the knowledge you need to have the wonderful holiday you deserve.
Villa Los Olivos is a large country cottage on beautiful grounds with private pool and located near l’Ampolla and the sea. It is a very big holiday home with five bedrooms. There is a large open plan living and dining area with a magnificent table with seating for twelve people and twin sofas with TV and Wi-Fi. There is an independent equipped kitchen with a large kitchen dining area. One bedroom with access to bathroom is located on the ground floor. On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms with access to a terrace with sea views. The other two bedrooms have two single beds each. There is a large bathroom on this level. There is A/C in the main living and kitchen areas. Outside there is an orange grove and fenced gardens that are perfect for a relaxing break. With a sleeping capacity for up to twelve people, this country villa represents great value for money.
This beautiful part of the Spanish Mediterranean, known as the Gold Coast, is famous for its mountains sweeping down to golden sandy beaches. Costa Dorada has a unique climate that is warm in summer and mild in winter.
L'Ampolla is a fishing village that has happily avoided being a tourist destination. Famed through-out the Costa Dorada for its cuisine, the oysters, razor clams and fish all come straight from the waters of the bay. While it does have a gentle pace of life with great beaches, there is still jet ski rental and boat hire for fishing, beach volleyball tournaments and a summer season night-club, music concerts and festivals to provide lots of interesting variety.

My wife, two teenage daughters and I spent a fabulous two weeks in Casa Merte, L'Ampolla. The Accomodation was great with easy access to fabulous sandy beach and several great restaurants. It is also 5 min drive tobL'Ampolla orbeaufiful 25 minute clisee more

It is also 5 min drive tobL'Ampolla orbeaufiful 25 minute cliff walk. The property had all the conveniences a Family requires including air conditioning in several rooms, wifi, access to communal pool, full kitchen facilities, barbecue etc. The owners of the rental agency, Eva and Adrian, were always extremely helpful and willing to assist. I cannot recommend them more highly.

We have had an amazing week staying at Los Olivos in L' Ampolla. We were a group of 8 and could not have asked for a better Villa! The communal living areas were spacious and very comfortable. The pool was a great size with plenty of loungers and we see more
We have had an amazing week staying at Los Olivos in L' Ampolla. We were a group of 8 and could not have asked for a better Villa! The communal living areas were spacious and very comfortable. The pool was a great size with plenty of loungers and we made use of the BBQ and outside dining area. There was lots of room for outside games and plenty of space for parking. It was a 10minute drive from the local town for restaurants, the supermarket and the harbour. It was easy to travel from Barcelona and we travelled to the city for a day to explore. Eva was great at organising our booking and very flexible with timings. We were very grateful to stay an extra few hours on our final day due to a late flight time. We would recommend this villa and have thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing holiday.

We spent 3 weeks in this villa in October 2014 with 2 persons a dog (grate Dane) and 1 week with 4 persons. First of all we have to say that we rented this villa for some reasons. The first one was the fenced enormous garden for our dog. She had the time of her life. The second reason was the excellent comments we red about the villa and Catalanways (Eva and Adrian). Regarding Eva and Adrian all the comments are more than true. Helpful, friendly, professional, always ready to help. They accompanied us to the villa explained all the details and gave us the necessary information about Ampolla. Really Top, thx for this service. Regarding the villa, we have a mixed feeling. The positive points are : a lot of space, large garden (could be better maintained), a lot of fly screens in almost all rooms (this was really necessary),TV Internet and all other devices working perfectly, nice pool with lots of space. Some negative points: almost all long chairs at the pool were broken, only two could be used. As we were sometimes with 4 persons this was a bit regrettable. Eva told us they will be replaced next year. When we arrived the pool was not OK (green water). José, the pool assistant, who comes twice a week for control, tried to fix the problem but had to ask for help on a professional. Thanks to Eva the pool was up and running three days after arrival.
As a summary, we had a fantastic 3 weeks. Thank you again Eva!!! |

Thanks Patrick for the review. Yes - all new lounge chairs because holidays are important. We have a new pool maintenance guy and we also changed the pump so that is now working perfectly. As got the great Dane, I don't know how you fitted a 'horse' see more

We came to spend a week. We were 3 couples, each with 2 children between 4 and 7 years. The House is very functional and very nice. Remember to take multiple outlets on the other hand. Its very comfortable home and well equipped. We will return with see more

We would actually go so far to say that the images put up in this site doesn't make Los Olivios justice.
Both inside and outside were wonderful, good beds, nice air condition inside for the hottest days, great fully equipped kitchen and very nice to have a washing machine to clean towels and clothes in. The pool was very nice and big, with nice area alongside for both barbecue and sunbathing. Beware that the villa is situated a few kilometeres outside the center of L'Ampolla, in the middle of olive fields, and having a car to your disposal is mandatory. But it's just a 2 minutes drive down to the center with grocery stores and local butcher ready to serve you with whatever you need. Highly recommended, and I cant honestly give anything less than five stars of any of the choices below. |

A super house where you can spend a really relaxing holiday. We were 3 families in the house and it offers lots of space for 10 people. When we arrived we picked up the keys at the office and were brought to the villa, alone we would never have foundsee more
A super house where you can spend a really relaxing holiday. We were 3 families in the house and it offers lots of space for 10 people. When we arrived we picked up the keys at the office and were brought to the villa, alone we would never have found the way. We were glad that we were able to move into the house right after a 17 hour drive. We found everything as it was described. The kitchen is very well equipped we did not miss anything. The 2 bathrooms are very nice and the rooms are exactly like in the photos. The highlight is of course the pool and the trees on the property. The plot IS completely fenced so that our dog could move freely. 2 times a week the pool was cleaned and the water quality tested. For us remains here only to say that we spent a wonderful holiday and we did not lack for anything. A really beautiful dreamlike house in a very quiet area Thank you again from all of us.

The villa was a pleasure!! Everything met our expectations.The first time you go to the villa accompanied by AdriaanEva of Catalan Ways, otherwise it is hard to find.The swimming pool is cleaned 2 times per week , there are plenty of towels and linensee more

Everything met our expectations.The first time you go to the villa accompanied by AdriaanEva of Catalan Ways, otherwise it is hard to find.The swimming pool is cleaned 2 times per week , there are plenty of towels and linen, there is a great Wi-Fi, a new washing machine and enough kitchen utensils, in short it lacks nothing.The scenery is beautiful but you do need to have a car.If you like fishing its great otherwise you can enjoy reading.In the village there are two supermarkets (not too big), but with a large range of products 15 km away is a larger supermarket.For young people there is only a little to do but that for young children it was perfect.The only minus point was the boiler of the villa. The hot water was fast on so that we are not all in a row could take a shower.A 10 for Eva and Adriaan, thanks to their organization, we have had a top holiday!!!!!Eva and Adriaan, thanks for all the good care.

The Villa was in a beautiful location, to the rear of the Villa lovely walks with the dogs. The town and beach was a short drive away with a good selection of restaurants and shops, small and quaint. Lovely views from the balconies a wonderful place to chill out, swim and relax in the sun. We would definitely visit again.

The house is spacious and has good facilities including a dishwasher and high-speed internet (for a fee). The house is very secluded. Within walking distance there is nothing to do (except walking through the lovely countryside). A car is necessary. L'ampolla itself is a quiet little town but there are a few highlights in the neighborhood. We ourselves spent some time driving to the north (Costa Brava) to see the sights. But we had a great time in the privacy offered by the villa and the beautiful weather. If you're looking for this, then doubt no longer. Price - quality is really good!

The villa was very comfortable, the pool perfect and it was close enough to L'Ampolla to get to the village and have a coffee and a croissant in a matter of minutes in the car. The evenings were so enjoyable, a barbecue nearly every night and sitting outside when the lights in the garden and pool came on was particularly pleasant. And you can get wifi access (¡unfortunatley it is e¡ssential in my line of work) so that too was a positive. I can recommend the villa to any group who is looking for privacy and a nice house to relax and unwind in.

Ens agradaria que hi haguessin coixins a les hamaques i alguns inflables per la piscina, altres anys hi eren, suposo que els deixaven antics inquilins com hem fet nosaltres aquest i altres anys.
Ens agradaria que hi haguessin coixins a les hamaques i alguns inflables per la piscina, altres anys hi eren, suposo que els deixaven antics inquilins com hem fet nosaltres aquest i altres anys.

Nous sommes venus passer une semaine : 3 couples, avec chacun 2 enfants de 4 à 7 ans. La maison est très fonctionnelle, très agréable.
Pensez à prendre des prises multiples en revanche.
Accueil très arrangeant, maison bien équipée.

Ein Super Haus wo man entspannte Ferien verbringen kann
Wir waren mit 3 Familien in diesem Haus.
Es bietet ausreichend Platz für 10 Personen .
Als wir ankamen haben wir den Schlüssel im Büro
abgeholt und wurden zur Villa gebracht, alleine hättesee more
Ein Super Haus wo man entspannte Ferien verbringen kann
Wir waren mit 3 Familien in diesem Haus. Es bietet ausreichend Platz für 10 Personen . Als wir ankamen haben wir den Schlüssel im Büro abgeholt und wurden zur Villa gebracht, alleine hätten wir den Weg nie gefunden. Wir waren froh, dass wir nach 17 Std Fahrt das Haus direkt beziehen durften. Wir haben alles so vorgefunden wie es beschrieben war. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet uns hat nichts gefehlt . Die 2 Bäder sind sehr schön und auch die Zimmer sind genau wie auf den Fotos . Highlight ist natürlich der Pool und der Baumbestand auf dem Grundstück . Das Grundstück IST komplett eingezäunt sodass sich auch unser Hund frei bewegen konnte. 2 mal in der Woche wurde der Pool gereinigt und die Wasserqualität geprüft. Für uns bleibt hier nur zu sagen das wir einen wunderbaren Urlaub verbracht haben und es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Ein wirklich traumhaft schönes Haus in sehr ruhiger Gegend Vielen dank noch mal von uns allen |

De villa is ons zeer bevallen!! Alles voldeed aan onze verwachtingen.
De eerste keer wordt je naar de villa begeleid door Adriaan of Eva van Catalan Ways, anders is het niet te vinden.
Het zwembad wordt 2 x per week bijgehouden, er zijn genoeg hansee more
De villa is ons zeer bevallen!! Alles voldeed aan onze verwachtingen.
De eerste keer wordt je naar de villa begeleid door Adriaan of Eva van Catalan Ways, anders is het niet te vinden. Het zwembad wordt 2 x per week bijgehouden, er zijn genoeg handdoeken en linnengoed, er is een sterke wifi tegen betaling, een nieuwe wasmachine en genoeg keukengerei, kortom het ontbreekt aan niets. De omgeving is prachtig, je hebt wel een auto nodig. Als je van vis houdt kun je hier heerlijk uiteten. In het dorp zijn twee supermarkten (niet groot), maar wel met een groot assortiment, 15 km verderop zit een wat grotere supermarkt. Voor jongeren is er weinig te doen maar dat was voor ons niet van toepassing met jonge kinderen. Het enige min puntje was de boiler van de villa, het warm water was snel op zodat we niet allemaal achter elkaar konden douchen. Verder een dikke 10 voor Eva en Adriaan, dankzij hun organisatie hebben wij een top vakantie gehad!!!!! Eva en Adriaan, bedankt voor alle goede zorgen. |

Het huisje is fantastisch, evenals ligging en zwembad. De route naar het huisje is over onverharde landweggetjes. Alleen kun je er voor de eerste keer niet komen, maar je wordt gebracht door de tussenpersoon. Aan de andere kant heeft dit ook wel wat.see more

Het is wel overal ver vandaan, auto is een must. Het is een mooie plaats om tot rust te komen. Wij zijn er met 3 kinderen geweest en dit ging prima. Ook is mooi weer wel erg belangrijk voor deze plaats. Wij hadden een week goed weer maar met slecht weer moet je er echt op uit, want dan ben je bij het huisje snel uitgekeken. Het is dus een huisje voor zonnen, uitrusten en relaxen. Het is een aanrader als je deze combi zoekt en je even de drukke sleur wilt ontvluchten. |

Nous avons découvert une région magnifique, encore peu touristique et donc authentique, avec un grand nombre de visites possibles dans le parc naturel de l'Elbe remarquablement préservé. L'Ampolla est un village de pêcheurs converti en petite station balnéaire à taille humaine.
Notre Villa a plus que répondu à nos attentes perdue au milieu de la campagne entourée d'une végetation sauvage et sans voisinage immédiat, tout en étant situé à 5minutes de la plage! Enfin une mention spéciale à Eva et Adrian, les dirigeants de Catalan Ways, qui ont été très réactif à chacune de nos demandes, et d'une gentillesse extrèmme! |
